P. Kerim Friedman is an assistant professor in the Department of Ethnic Relations and Cultures at National Dong Hwa University, in Taiwan, where he teaches linguistic and visual anthropology. i’m happy he’s still alive, even if i suspect that if he’s been around so long is only because he hasn’t found a rising anthropological star to die in his (or better, her) arms as boas did with him. :)
