How it works

Partially in response to a comment on Rex’s last post, and also because I believe this should go up on every anthropologist’s door (alongside that Far Side cartoon):

How it works

Disclaimer: I don’t actually have any cartoons on my office door. I was speaking metaphorically.

If you do put it up on your door, make sure to find some way to include the title (which isn’t part of the image one can link to). Without “How it works,” the image becomes more open to interpretation. And far less punchy.

    The integral of x^2 is (x^3)/3 + C , by the way.

Right, and with a domain of integration of [0,3*pi^(1/3)], the integral is correct…
