OAA at the AAA Update
There has been some productive discussion on the new #savageminds IRC channel set up by Rex. Here is the latest news:
- The wiki at the new URL is now working: http://openaccessanthropology.org/
- We are going to have an Open Access Anthropology meeting at lunchtime on Saturday the 18th. Rex will post the location Thursday night (PST).
- We would like everyone to help out by printing up a couple of sheets of small, return-address size stickers with the url: OpenAccessAnthropology.org. Hand these out to your friends, stick them in other people’s programs, wherever (just not on the walls or furniture).
- The party is still on for Friday night – around 8:30 in Rex’s hotel room. He’ll post the room number after he checks in.
UPDATE: http://openaccessanthropology.org is now live!
