Thank you for writing your thoughtful and informative obituary for Ben Finney. Ben had just returned to the UH when I entered graduate school in Anthropology in late 1972 / early 1973. He was a very interesting and talented scholar involved in fascinating lines of research that lay slightly outside the traditional bounds of anthropological inquiry. He added much to the Department.
