I believe you are right about Chen adding &quot;more evidence to one side of an established debate&quot;, but I guess we perceive the value of this slightly different. If anything I think his rich empirical backing of his claims are sorely needed in the field of Games and Learning - a field that sometimes appear to be so busy convincing everyeone that &quot;games are good for you&quot; that they dont have to time to delve into the &#039;failures&#039;. 

Chen aptly demonstrates how his guild was a vibrant and functioning community of practice, and how it still wasnt robust enough to deal with the emergent playstyles that developed during their time together.]]></description>
