		<description><![CDATA[Since I can never resist a good thrashing (egregious SM humor alert), I clicked on the link to that review -- rarely have I read a more childishly ungenerous, self-aggrandizing piece of criticism.  Knowing nothing about either the author or the reviewer, nor about the Marshall Islands, I haven&#039;t got a dog in that fight -- but I think the editors of the journal would have done well to have bowed to the reviewer&#039;s avowed protestations and asked someone else to assess the book.]]></description>
