Flattering that it's so convincing -- I modeled it after a lot of the journalism in the last couple years on "the God gene" and other evo-psych research, reporting which is usually packed full of cultural assumptions but almost no actual sense of the data the researchers based their work on. Pretty good, though. It sounds just like some off the wingnut pronouncements I've heard reacently. What did our Dear Leader say? "Fool me once, shame on — shame on you. Fool me — you can't get fooled again." Of course, those raised outside of Western European traditions, probably would have a harder understanding the significance of April foolery.
