Thanks for the link Sam. It looks like the back end of Complore is Drupal? The site looks interesting but it actually lacks most of the functionality of CiteULike -- the bookmarking function in Complore doesn't suck up metadata about articles the way CiteULike does. Complore looks more like a mashup of del.icio.us and SSRN self-archiving.

A new similar website but with more advance features is http;//www.complore.com. It is a social research collaboration tool to help people working in different research fields to come together and share and access each others work. You can form groups and solve problems through forums. You can send private messages to members.

It can help research students, professors to expand their work and find new people with similar interests.

<strong>ALL Social that CAN bookmark</strong>

What's so great about SOCIAL bookmarks is that it creates a people powered search engine! This listing, I hope, may help you find the right social bookmarking service and understand the different kinds that can bookmark

<strong>Do you know of a Social Bookmarks review?</strong>

If you've written, or know about a good complete review of a social bookmark service, please let know so I can reference it here.

You are right, it isn't working. I contacted the CiteULike developer about this last week, but there has been no response. Part of the problem is that CiteULike is simply one person's side project. I wish a larger institution would consider taking it over and ensuring continued development.

Thanks for the great tutorial! But jeepers it seems like the plugin for CiteULike's bookmarklet use with Anthrosource has gone buggy! No problem loading articles from History and Anthropology or Annual Review of Anthro, but no luck at all with Anthrosource articles (JSTOR or no, abstract or citation, any of several journals). I even tried the same Christopher Kelly article from Cultural Anthropology that Kerim used in the tutorial, no go! Phoo, this will be great if and when it works with Anthrosource again...or am I missing some obvious step here?

I don't know if I'm doing something wrong, or if CiteULike or AnthroSource has changed in a way that breaks interoperability, but I'm not able to get CiteULike to parse most of the articles I encounter, whether I use the bookmarklet from the citation/abstract page or from the pdf page. The only success I've had is with articles that link to JStor entries. Is anyone else having success with this? Is there a trick I don't understand?
